Step into what awaits you

A discovery call is a careful first step toward exploring whether a retreat is right for you

Schedule a confidential discovery call

It is a 30–45 minute, private conversation with an experienced facilitator to see if a Ground Health retreat suits your intentions and needs.

Purpose

  • Explore fit, answer practical and safety questions about process, facilitators, and setting

  • Clarify medical and psychological suitability and contraindications

What to expect

  • Respectful listening and practical guidance, no pressure to commit

  • Clear information on preparation, integration, logistics, and safety

Ready to explore? Book a confidential discovery call to discuss your questions and find out if Ground Health is right for you.

Why we begin with a call

Psychedelic experiences can be meaningful and powerful, but they are not suitable for everyone at every moment in life. The call allows us to screen for medical issues and ensure that participation is appropriate, as well as to clarify expectations, in order to protect both participants and facilitators.

This process exists to support informed choice — not to persuade or filter unnecessarily.

What the screening call is - and isn’t.

The screening call is:

  • A private, confidential conversation

  • A chance to ask questions and discuss your intentions

  • A way to explore suitability and readiness

  • An opportunity to understand our approach in more detail

The screening call is not:

  • A medical or psychological assessment

  • A commitment to attend a retreat

  • A place to share detailed personal history

  • A guarantee of acceptance

  • You’ll have a confidential call with a member of our team to discuss your interest, questions, and any initial considerations.

  • If a retreat feels appropriate, we’ll invite you to complete a more detailed intake and discuss next steps. If not, we’ll explain why with care and clarity.

  • For accepted participants, preparation and integration support are part of the journey — not add-ons.

  • There is no obligation to proceed beyond the screening call.

What happens next

This first step may be right for you if …

  • You’re curious but cautious

  • You want a legal, responsibly held experience

  • You value preparation and integration

  • You prefer conversation over forms

  • You’re open to being told “not yet” if appropriate

Who is this step for

  • The call is scheduled for 45 minutes. Typically, calls last between 30 minutes and 1 hour. We take the time you need to ensure that you, and we, have enough information to make a clear and informed decision.

  • No, the calls are a free opportunity to explore what you might need to feel ready.

  • Just come with the questions you may have.

Other than that, note that when you schedule the call, there is a brief form that allows you to provide us with relevant background which will serve as starting point to our discussion.

You are under no obligation to share any information that you don’t wish to. This is true at every step of the journey together.

  • Apart from the obvious administrative details, you only share the information that you are comfortable in sharing with the individual Ground Health staff members.
